"Bad customer service"

I have been to Currys in Perth a few times recently as the other major electrical shop near me had shut down. On both occasions I've found staff to avoid eye contact when I've tried to get their attention and even ignored me when I've been standing in front of them at the till. When they do finally serve you it is either in complete silence or if they do speak it sounds as if you are an inconvenience to them if they have to fetch keys to open a display case etc...
